BroadbandONE, the leading Internet Service and Colocation Provider in South Florida located in Boca Raton seeks a Customer Support Representative capable of providing stellar customer service and support. The position is for a self motivated, team player that will be responsible for taking phone calls, troubleshooting DSL, Web and Email Hosting problems, opening tickets and following up with customers.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

- Provide support via telephone and e-mail for products including:

- Dialup/DSL

- Webhosting

- E-mail

- Spam filtering
- Assist customers in our Colocation facility with check-in / check-out

- Datacenter room checks including temperature, humidity, equipment alarms and bad UPS power supplies

- Perform remote hands services for Colocation customers
- Record all problems and customer interaction in proprietary ticketing system


Requirements:

- EXCELLENT customer service skills, both verbal and written
- Understanding of DNS and how requests are handled on the Internet

- Understanding of e-mail functionality

- Ability to self manage / motivate
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office

 

Prior experience in a support environment a plus.

This position is in a 24 x 7 support department, and requires the availability to work any shift required possibly including night / weekend shifts.
